-Opening or eating packaged or canned foods that were exposed to fire or water.
-Turning on ceiling fans or lights that were exposed to water.
-Washing walls that were damaged by fire, smoke or water.

However, you should do the following:

-Change your HVAC filter as soon as possible.
-Cover the carpeted areas where you walk with towels or linens.
-Affix two layers of cheesecloth over air ducts.
-If there is chrome in your home, lightly coat it with oil or Vaseline.

While following both sets of tips will help you minimize the amount of damage in your home, the sooner you call us, the sooner we can restore your home to its previous state.
